Markos Karasarinis is the editor of the Books and Ideas Sections («Βιβλία» και «Νέες Εποχές») in To Vima which he joined in 2005. He holds a Ph.D. in Modern European History from the University of Glasgow. Along with Panagiotis Kimourtzis and Giorgos Kokkinos he is the editor of the volume Ιστορία και δικαιοσύνη (Ασίνη, 2020). He is the author, along with Giorgos Kokkinos and Vassilis Bogiatzis, of the book Το πολύχρωμο μωσαϊκό της γερμανικής ιστορίας (Επέκεινα, 2016). He has contributed articles on Modern Greek History in edited volumes, most recently in The Greek Revolution: A Critical Dictionary (edited by Paschalis M. Kitromilides and Constantinos Tsoukalas, Belknap Press, 2021).
